A newly renovated wooden house with 3,000 m² of fenced outdoor space in Bachury.
Our property
This holiday home is located in the idyllic village of Bachury, which is surrounded by forest. The fenced property, which has its own small wood, is ideal for a family holiday as children can enjoy a real country holiday here. Dogs are also very welcome!
The village is situated close to the Siemianowka Reservoir, which is of great importance to ornithologists. In autumn, thousands of cranes fly over our house on their way to roost by the lake. The surrounding area is ideal for walkers and cyclists. And, of course, for mushroom pickers! You can also take a day trip to the Białowieża Primeval Forest, about 20 minutes away by car.
Please note that we do not offer catering services. However, one of our neighbours in Bachury would be happy to cook for you.
The price includes:
- set of bed linen and towels
- gas
- electricity
- water
- wood for the stoves, fireplace, bonfire
- Internet (not always fast and stable)
Extra fees
- Pets: one-time fee of 60 Euro for the whole stay – half of the payment is donated to the Dog Shelter “Ciapek” in Hajnówka
Das Haus:
The House
A few years ago, we bought the Kranich holiday home and lovingly renovated it step by step. Our aim was to preserve the regional architectural style while blending traditional features with modern comforts.
The house has two bedrooms and can comfortably accommodate up to four guests. A charming circus wagon can be rented for larger groups as an additional bedroom, with space for two adults and one child. Guests staying in the circus wagon share the main house with you for meals and relaxation.
The ground floor:
- There is a large covered terrace on the courtyard side and a small bay window on the street side (Polish: ganek).
- The open-plan kitchen is well equipped with a gas hob and electric oven.
- The cosy living room has a fireplace and a music system.
- Bathroom/WC with washing machine.
The upper floor:
One bedroom approx. 15 m², with two beds (90×200)
One bedroom approx. 10 m², with two beds (90×200)
Circus wagon:
- Cabin-style bed (120×200 cm)

How to get:
- by train or bus from Warsaw to Hajnówka with the possibility of being picked up at the station in Hajnówka
- by car – parking space for free on the premises
Our area
- The property is located in the small, sleepy village of Bachury. It can be accessed via an avenue lined with centuries-old willow trees.
- The village’s greatest asset is its location, surrounded by beautiful meadows and ancient hedgerows and close to the famous ornithological site of Lake Siemianówka. Migratory birds such as cranes, hoopoes, black storks and majestic white-tailed eagles breed here. Ornithology in eastern Poland is truly a highlight!
- The northern part of the Bialowieza National Park is just 20 minutes away. Here, you can explore the forest independently and take photographs in peace. In winter, spring and autumn especially, you may spot large animals such as bison, deer, wild boar and elk. Some visitors have even been lucky enough to encounter a wolf! We would be happy to arrange a guide for you.
- The nearest shop is in Szymki (5.5 km away), and there are larger shops and a restaurant in Michalowo (17 km away). There is also a beach (Bondary, 12.5 km) and an exciting observation tower (Cisowka, approx. 10 km).
